Introducing the World’s Newest Superhero

1. I’m happy the world is back to normal.
2. I’m glad we got to experience the Please Touch Museum.
3. I’m thankful for all the calls and messages of concern we’ve gotten about Owen’s health.

First, some matters of housekeeping. Owen is doing great. He’s back to his old self, if not a little crazier. Intussusception doesn’t typically recur, but, if it does, it’s usually with the first day or so. I don’t expect we’ll have to go through our hospital drama again any time soon.

While we were at the hospital, as Owen was wearing his open-back gown with his butt hanging out, he was getting chilly. Meg and I used the opportunity to tie one of the blankets around Owen’s shoulders, like a cape. Since it was covering his exposed areas, we decided Owen’s superhero alter ego would be dubbed Captain Dignity. Below you can behold the world’s newest superhero.
